The rumoured Persona 4 remake has finally been officially revealed at today’s Xbox Games Showcase.

Titled Persona 4 Revival, it’s set for release across Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5. It will also be coming to Game Pass on Xbox and PC on release.

Similarly to last year’s Persona 3 Reload, Persona 4 appears to have updated visuals and gameplay, though little was shown in the trailer.

“We are currently working on this project with all our passion and love,” said director at P-Studio Kazuhisa Wada. “We are confident that this will be a fresh and surprising product for both newcomers and long-time fans and we look forward to sharing it with you all.”

Wada even hinted at more from the series, as fans eagerly anticipate the expected Persona 6.

“Additionally, we are actively preparing for the future development of the Persona series as a studio,” said Wada. “We are working hard to meet the expectations of fans around the world and our work is progressing well. Please stay tuned for more updates.”

The remake was all-but-revealed last week when two voice actors announced they would not be returning for the remake, before Atlus or Sega had officially revealed it existed.

Then, earlier this week, it was reported the remake would be revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase – which turned out to be correct.

For more Persona goodness, Persona 5: The Phantom X will be released later this month across mobile and PC.
