Ninja Gaiden 4 will be released on 21st October this year, across Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5.

The game was first announced earlier this year at the Xbox Developer Direct with an autumn release date, but now we know specifically when it’ll be available.

The game is a collaboration between Team Ninja and PlatinumGames, known for the Bayonetta games and more.

Ninja Gaiden 4 will follow the re-release of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black that shadow dropped during the Developer Direct.

This new game will feature a new protagonist alongside series icon Ryu Hayabusa. Earlier this year, I spoke to the developers about how the game’s two protagonists will honour the series’ legacy.

The new gameplay trailer, above, showed off plenty of frantic, gory action in a futuristic world. In all, it’s typical Ninja Gaiden stuff.
