Lost Records developer Don’t Nod has reportedly laid off an undisclosed number of staff.

While the studio has not formally confirmed the cuts, a number of colleagues revealed the news on their LinkedIn profiles, confirming “yet another wave of layoffs affecting the video game industry.”

Whilst the number of people impacted is not known, some former colleagues called it a “layoff wave,” revealing they “did not anticipate” the cuts were coming. Roles impacted include QA, artists, and level designers.

One colleague suggested the number of staff affected was a “non-insignificant chunk” of the “relatively small team.”

GamesIndustry.biz has reached out to Don’t Nod for comment.

An estimated 2500 developers have lost their jobs in 2025 so far. Mostly recently, this has been multiple cuts at EA, including Respawn, People Can Fly, Jagex, and Build a Rocket Boy.
