Alex Boucher, founder and managing director of Analog, has been awarded an MBE for services to the gaming industry and entrepreneurship during the King’s recent birthday honors.
Boucher – who also co-founded Game Dev Heroes and Games Growth Agency – previously worked at Biz Media for five years as MCV/Develop’s contract business development manager. He is also a trustee on the board of Safe In Our World, the gaming mental health charity.
“I’m honored (and a little surprised) to share that I’ve been awarded an MBE for services to entrepreneurship and the video games industry,” Boucher said on LinkedIn.
“It’s a privilege to be recognised in this way, particularly for work that I’ve genuinely loved – building businesses, driving growth, and championing the incredible talent and creativity in games.
“This recognition reflects not just personal effort, but the support, trust, and collaboration of so many brilliant colleagues, partners, and teams over the years. From early sales pitches to global launches, I’ve learned an enormous amount from the people around me – and I’m incredibly grateful for that.”
