As the thrills of July make way for the spills of August, Amazon has refreshed its Prime Gaming offerings once more, this time bringing 13 titles to subscribers, including Civilization 3.

As is now customary for the service, Prime Gaming’s August additions arrive across four scheduled content drops, and the month’s first batch of titles is available to claim right now. This initial wave is arguably the best of the bunch too, bringing classic 4X strategy action in the form of Civilization 3 Complete and some rebooted first-person stealthing via Thief: Definitive Edition, both of which can be claimed through GOG.

Then, as the month progresses, there’s some chaotic multiplayer infiltration in Filthy Animals: Heist Simulator, fantasy action in FATE: The Traitor Soul, a bit of tactical roguelite deck-building in Necroking, a splash of old-school D&D in the Silver Box Classics bundle, and more. You’ll find the full list of August’s titles (plus the digital stores they can be grabbed from) below.

Now Available:

  • Sid Meier’s Civilization 3 Complete [GOG]
  • Thief: Definitive Edition [GOG]
  • The Academy: The First Riddle [Amazon Games App]

August 14:

  • FATE: The Traitor Soul [GOG]
  • Filthy Animals: Heist Simulator [Epic Games Store]
  • Tin Hearts [GOG]
  • Necroking [GOG]

August 21:

  • Labyrinth City: Pierre the Maze Detective [Amazon Games App]
  • Silver Box Classics [GOG Code]

August 28:

  • Heroes of Loot 2 [GOG]
  • Fantasy Empires [GOG]
  • City Legends: The Ghost of Misty Hill Collector’s Edition [Legacy Games Code]

Additionally, Prime Gaming subscribers in the UK, US, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, the Netherlands, and Poland get the usual access to a rotating selection of titles via Amazon’s Luna cloud gaming service. In August, these include Saints Row: The Third, Dungeons of Hinterberg, Windjammers 2, SkateBIRD, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, Smurfs Kart, The Smurfs — Mission Vileaf, Garfield Lasagna Party, Monster Truck Championship — Rebel Hunter Edition, Overcooked! 2, El Hijo, Monster Harvest, Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure, and The King of Fighters ’97 Global Match.

Those are available alongside Luna regulars Fallout New Vegas: Ultimate Edition, Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, Rainbow Six Siege, Fortnite, and Trackmania.
