22cans founder and creative director Peter Molyneux will be the keynote speaker at DevGamm Lisbon 2025.

Taking place November 6-7, 2025, at the Myriad Hotel in Lisbon, the international B2B game conference will feature talks, workshops, MeetToMatch-powered networking, exclusive VIP formats, and showcase over 60 games.

Founded in 2008 (then as FlashGamm), DevGamm aims to “unite developers from around the world” through its events. Last year’s Lisbon conference featured John Romero and Warren Spector among its speakers and had a record attendance of 800 participants.

This year’s conference is part of a DevGamm week in Portugal, with the Madeira Games Summit, an executive event, taking place November 3-4, 2025.

In addition to Molyneux, confirmed speakers for DevGamm Lisbon 2025 include Abby LeMaster (senior lead producer at Riot Games), Nikola Stoyanov (art director at Ubisoft Sofia), Adam Boyes (founder and CEO of Vivaro), Tulay McNally (senior director of inclusive game design strategy at Scopely), Miguel Oliveira (co-founder and CEO of Druids AI), and Maria Borys (lead narrative at Flying Wild Hog/Merry Tale Games).

More speakers will be announced in September.

Those who wish to submit a game for the DevGamm awards still have time to do so before the September 1, 2025 deadline.

These awards aim to “spotlight the hidden gems of the industry” and are open to AA and indie game developers, with a main prize of $100,000 and additional categories offering rewards worth more than $30,000.
